Hello there. I am so glad you made it here and are looking for ways to care for yourself. As we have been facing great challenges and stress as a collective it is a vital time to do so, and while we so easily can be distracted and tempted to seek outside of ourselves instead, we only move further away from that which has the power to truly awaken us to a state of vibrancy, wisdom and healing; our body. In this course we will be taking a deep dive of inquiry, embodiment, and celebration to relate to our inner resources and outer expressions so we may begin to “move” through our lives and transitions in a way that is grounded, fluid, spacious and more authentically aligned with our needs and our truth. Whether you are someone who practices yoga, dance and other movement forms or are someone who hasn't moved their body much lately, this program will offer a valuable opportunity to "come home to yourself" and discover a new appreciation and a more intimate relationship with your body and how it can awaken you to a deeper understanding of who you are as you begin to feel more authentic and free in your expression. In this sense this course is not just about getting to know your body better, but inhabiting it so fully that you are partnered with it in such a way that it becomes your guide (as it was designed to be) and to begin the process of unravelling what has been blocking that connection . Through somatic, mindful, exploratory movement and dance, along with guided meditation we will embark on this journey by refining our attention inward, identifying pathways of support and activating the clearing of stagnation so we can more freely access the energies of flow creativity, joy and vitality within. These classes are about getting connected, free and having fun and while there will be specific practices and guidance throughout, it will ultimately be an opportunity for you to discover how your body wants to move and the unique expressions that want to come through! (And since it’s on Zoom, for those who may feel a lil’ inhibited, no need to worry lol.) The Awakened Body Immersion is a 4 week journey consisting of: 4 virtual (and recorded) classes 4 recorded meditations weekly journal prompts home practices + one 30 minute check in/guided healing session Virtual Classes we be held Wednesdays at 7pm EST on Zoom and will be approximately 60 minutes. If you are unable to attend the live class, a recording will be available shortly after the live session.
